after dropping off the face of the blogosphere after leaving the states, i made a resolution to blog EVERYDAY this year. so i realize i’m about eighteen days late, but it’s never too late, right? (i should know better than to make resolutions anymore after fifteen years of failing at them, but hey.)
and i’m moving the personal stuff over to tumblr after discovering that my mother stalks my other blog 10x a day and has taken to interrogating me about each post over gchat.
so i pulled up last year’s new year’s post to see how i did on my resolutions and here is a recap:
in 2010 i hope to:
- start my own business
- complete 50 states (hellooo texas!) / thank you aycj!
achieve yelp elite status/ this was the simplest and most achievable, but i guess i didn’t make it enough of a priority :P- travel to a new country / went to japan
move out (this is a stretch)be better at time management- rent a car (cause i finally can!) / thank you aycj!
try new recipes and appreciate my well-stocked kitchen- be more honest with myself and others / this one… i think i can safely say i achieved to both much liberation and much pain

for 2011:
- blog everyday (but i’ll settle for increasing post frequency…)
- travel to a new country
- get featured/published
- read one book per month
- write. a lot.
- spend more time outdoors
